There are certain Brands of Appliances I do not work on. As well as certain types of appliances or certain models within brands that I don't work on.

Surely there will be more than just what’s on this list, but these are the common ones that I get the most calls about.

If your appliance is on this list there’s a good chance you’ve already called around just to find out no one wants to service it. There are different reasons why your appliance may be on this list but they all pretty much come down to profit. After decades of working on just about everything out there, I’ve learned these are just not profitable machines for me to work on.

Here’s the list:

• All Refrigerators. This is just as of January 1, 2024, Sorry, this is a long time coming and I'm just tired of putting out all the dumpster fires they can cause. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I don't have any recommendations for you. Good Luck 🍀 My best advice is to keep it simple when you purchase a refrigerator. It just needs to keep your food fresh and maybe make a little ice. That's it. I believe the biggest killer of today's refrigerators is the placement of the ice maker. The ice maker belongs in the depths of the freezer. Not in the fresh food section. Not in the freezer door. Not in the refrigerator door. It belongs INSIDE THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT. It's when they started relocating the icemaker a decade or so ago that I started seeing all the early/frequent/repeated failure problems start popping up. All the frequently repeated failures that today's refrigerators have not only makes them unprofitable to work on but also many times creates a customer misconception of the repair person. That's never a good thing. Since about 2015 I've just watched it get worse and worse and spread throughout all the brands and I decided in 2023 it brought me down too much in both productivity and profitability and it was time to cut those strings.
•  All Microwaves. If you text me we can talk about it. I believe have more microwave experience than anyone in Johnson County. I've worked on them for years. But this is a very expensive service to offer and if your microwave isn't very expensive then you're better off replacing it.
• ​All Chest Freezers
• Many Kenmore Brand Appliances. Most of them I DO work on but since Kenmore doesn’t manufacture their own products, I’ll need your model # to determine whether or not it’s a machine from this list.
• Samsung Top Load Washing Machines but I DO work on their front load washers
• All Induction Cooking Appliances
• All ASKO Appliances
• All Miele Appliances
• Samsung and LG Dishwashers. I don't service either.
